Every address on my old site has now been changed to this new address. Everything was backed up, but when moving to my new address, the last year of posts did not migrate well. With that in mind, I will be republishing those posts over the next year, as well as adding fun new projects.
If you have pins on Pinterest from my site (old address), please delete them from your boards and repin them with the new address.

Are you ready to fill those Easter basket? Crochet a set of bunny bags to package yummy jelly beans, chocolate eggs or peeps to stuff your baskets. Don’t limit yourself to just Easter. These also make cute favor bags for baby showers and birthday parties.
Things You Need:
Worsted weight yarn

The crochet bunny bag is crocheted in continuous rounds. Do not ch up or join to previous rounds unless instructed.
This crochet pattern does not include a gauge as it is not a pattern that requires a sized fit.
What To Do:
Form a magic ring using a worsted weight yarn of your choice.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 8 hdc in the ring. DO NOT sl st to beginning ch. Pull the tail to close the center. (8 hdc)
Rnd 2: 2 hdc around. (16 hdc)
Rnd 3: *Hdc in the next st, 2 hdc in the next.* Repeat from * to * around. (24 hdc)
Rnd 4: *Hdc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next.* Repeat from * to * around. (32 hdc)
Rnds 5-12: Hdc in each stitch around. (Sl st at the end of Rnd 12.)
Rnd 13: Ch 3, sk a st. *Hdc, ch 1, sk a st.* Repeat from * to * around. Sl st to second ch of beginning ch 3.
Rnd 14: Sc in each ch sp and hdc around. Sl st to first sc. DO NOT fasten off.
Work in rows.
Row 1: Ch 1. Sc in next 12 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc-dec, sc in next 8 sts, sc-dec. (10 sc)
Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across. (10 sc)
Row 4: Ch 1, turn. Sc-dec, sc in next 6 sts, sc-dec. (8 sc)
Row 5: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across. (8 sc)
Row 6: Ch 1, turn. Sc-dec, sc in next 4 sts, sc-dec. ( 6sc)
Row 7: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across. (6 sc)
Row 8: Ch 1, turn. Sc-dec, sc in next 2 sts, sc-dec. (4 sc)
Row 9: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across. (4 sc)
Row 10: Ch 1, turn. Sc-dec twice. (2 sc)
Row 11: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across. (2 sc)
Row 12: Ch 1, turn. Sc-dec. (1 sc) Fasten off and weave in ends.
Skip 4 sts to the left of the first ear on Rnd 14. Attach yarn to 5th st.
Repeat Rows 1-12.
With crochet bunny bag facing you, attach yarn to the bottom right side of an ear.
Work around the ears and the top of the bag. Sc in the ends of each ear row, 3 sc in the top of the ears and sc in each st between the ears.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Ch 70 and fasten off. Tie a knot in each end of the chain and trim the extending yarn to 1/2″. This is your drawstring. Starting between the ears on one side of the bunny, thread the drawstring through the sps of Rnd 13. Pull ends to close and tie into a bow.
