In June 2019, my original site was hacked and stolen, but I refuse to let the thieves win.
Every address on my old site has now been changed to this new address. Everything was backed up, but when moving to my new address, the last year of posts did not migrate well. With that in mind, I will be republishing those posts over the next year, as well as adding fun new projects.
If you have pins on Pinterest from my site (old address), please delete them from your boards and repin them with the new address.

Carrots, Carrots, Carrots!
With so many bunnies appearing in my craft room, I figured the bunny patch needed carrots! Not just any carrots though, I wanted big, oversized carrots. These were also made using unconventional fabric colors, as well as orange.
Note: My carrots (without greens) measured approximately 15″ before stuffing and approximately 12″ after closing.
Easter Decor Inspiration # 2-Giant Fabric Carrots
There are many fabric carrot tutorials online so finding a pattern you are happy with shouldn’t be too difficult. Even if you find one that isn’t the size you want, adjusting and altering is pretty simple, after all, a carrot is basically a cone shape.
I sewed a green fabric square to the top of the carrot “triangle” before I stitched up the side of the carrot. I also added a bit of jute twine at the point for roots.
After stuffing, I gathered the carrot closed and wrapped with a ripped strip of muslin that I tied in a bow.
Lastly, the green square ripped in 1/4″ widths for the carrot top.
