These brass handles are from pocket doors. Aren’t they fabulous?
I’m finally back to yard sale-ing! You would think I have enough stuff since I have filled two storage units from our move, but placing restrictions on the junking adventures of a dyed-in-the-wool junker is impossible. Besides, I do make use of my junk finds sooner or later. 😉
This bedside table is just screaming for a makeover.
This hutch is a particle board nightmare, but I have immediate plans for it. I need cupboard space, and even though I don’t know how well the surface will take (and retain) a paint job, the $12 I got it for allows me the chance to give it a shot.
Footstools seem to be really popular, so this stool will be transformed to sell.
I found this old, weathered oar for $1. Now bear with me on this one. I have a vision. I think it will make a great background for a sign. “Gone Fishing” anyone?
Score! My husband went with me to the citywide yard sales in Rose Hill, Kansas a couple of weeks ago and this was his find of the day. These landscape bricks were stacked along the curb with a “free” sign on them. The homeowner who was giving them away actually helped us load them in the car.
Another chenille bedspread. There was no way I could pass up this light, dusty green chenille bedspread. I love the yummy color and it was only $3.
As the weather warms up great junk find deals seem to be popping out everywhere. I hope you are having as much fun as I am.
Enjoy!
I am so jealous you found that oar–and for $1?! I have been looking for over a year for one!
